UNWIND Café landed with ‘English Afternoon Tea’ Culture in an exemplary way
The launch of English Afternoon Tea Menu by UNWIND Café at Saket, New Delhi is no less than an expedition to England’s Afternoon Teatime. Started in the mid-nineteenth century, the concept of Afternoon Tea primarily emerged to fill in the long gap between lunch and dinner with dainty and light eatables.
The concept gained popularity later when it became more of a fashionable social event. Majorly missed from the cafes of the Capital and most commonly available in five stars, the launch of English Afternoon Tea Menu at UNWIND Café and Salon began with a private event wherein some of Delhi’s top food bloggers tasted the delicacies from the Menu and also introduced themselves to the unique concept of a café and a salon under one roof.
The menu is one of its kind and comprises of Scones served with jam and clotted cream, dainty finger sandwiches (Choice of Egg Salad, Butter Cucumber, Ham & Cheese) with Assorted Tea Cake slices and a wide range of both Black & Green Teas served with biscuits.
The cafe definitely promises a traditional Afternoon Tea experience complete with beautiful English crockery at extremely reasonable prices.
Ms. Neeti Chopra, Owner, UNWIND Salon & Café shares “All items in the menu are baked/cooked in-house for providing top-notch quality and an unforgettable experience.
We look forward to welcoming guests at both, the salon & the cafe and hope to give them one the best Unwinding sessions”.
